The DC South Asian Film Festival launched it's second annual event at the Embassy of India on Thursday night, May 9, 2013. Organizers Manoj and Geeta Singh welcomed the invited guests and media. Some of the directors, producers and artists of regional and local films to be featured in the festival were on hand to greet the gathering and answer questions.

Many features, short films and documentaries have been lined up. Opening night red carpet gala is at 7:00pm May 10 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Rockville MD. Workshops and movie screenings are spread over the following two days. For a full schedule click here: http://www.dcsaff.com/schedule.
