The India-U.S. CEO Forum meeting was held on July 12, 2013 at the US Department of State in Washington DC.  The meeting was attended by the Finance Minister of India, P Chidambaram, and US Treasury Secretary, Jacob Lew;  Commerce, Industries and Textiles Minister of India, Anand Sharma, US Commerce Secretary, Penny Pritzker, and US Deputy Secretary of State William Burns. It was co-chaired by, on behalf of the governments, Deputy Chairman, Planning Commission of India, Montek Singh Ahluwalia and US Trade Representative Michael Froman, and on behalf of the CEOs, by Ratan Tata and Honeywell CEO David Cote. India's Ambassador to the US, Nirupama Rao was present in the meeting and US Deputy National Security Adviser Caroline Atkinson delivered the closing remarks. Top CEOs representing diverse sectors of the two economies and senior Government officials from both sides deliberated on issues of common interest to further deepen India-US trade and economic ties.
